What does Watt Loss mean? Looking for the actual definition from a technician's standpoint. I was told Watt loss needs to be considered when designing a drive/motor system but I'm not sure how critical it is.

Watt Loss is simply a measure of the internal power loss of a specific component, the difference between the power it consumes and the amount of power its output delivers.
