Does anyone have much experience with leather gears? Not totally sure of the construction, durability, reliability, etc.
I'm just looking for some more information I guess.
I have seen leather gears on vintage industrial machines. They seem like an interesting topic of conversation but I don't remember any specific positives or negatives with their use.
