What does E07 Mean on Hitachi SJ200?

Looking for some help with some Hitachi SJ200 Errors. I'm not sure if you call these errors, faults, or alarms but I can use some detailed info and troubleshooting suggestions.

  • Hitachi E07 Alarm
  • Hitachi E07 Error
  • Hitachi E07 Fault

Thanks in advance!

E07 Error / E07 Fault / E07 Alarm

Means: Overvoltage Protection

Possible Cause: DC bus voltage exceeds a threshold, due to regenerative energy from motor.

Also, Hitachi SJ200 inverters will trip on over-voltage to protect the inverter. The motor output turns OFF, hence the motor free-wheels to a stop. Just press the Stop/Reset key to reset the drive and clear the error.
