Title: Parker 590+ Drive Alarms
Post by: allentrop on September 07, 2016, 04:59:AM
Hello,
I am getting a FIELD OVER I alarm on a Parker 590+ drive. I checked the field current with a meter and it seems to be in range so I am concerned that the drive is complaining about the current when it shouldn't be. Is there a troubleshooting guide  I can follow? or does anyone have any 590+ troubleshooting procedure? Thanks!

Sounds like the answer will be found in your calibration. Has the calibration been dome properly for the field current? Is it set according to the motor nameplate?

Parker 590+ Alarms and Faults

I've made a list of the 590+ alarms codes along with the possible reasons and suggestions for clearing the alarms. This is a tedious way of doing things, but hopefully it helps with your problem.

(Still a few more to come...)

Hey drives-technician, you are very thorough! The 590 drive alarm list Looks good. Do you also have a list of the models this pertains to?
