Title: Rexroth Indradrive Reliability
Post by: fraily1 on August 01, 2016, 04:05:AM
Guys,
Anyone care to comment on the reliability of Rexroth Indradrives? We have a paper coil processing line with Rexroth Indradrives and motors. We have had recurring encoder failures in the motors. Is there a reliability problem with this line of drives and motors?

Thanks for your thoughts!

My rule is one failure is possible with any brand of motor, drive, or encoder system, it happens... But when you repeatedly have problems with damaged components in your drive system, then you should take a second look at the installation and other factors that surround the system.
