What does E05 Mean on Hitachi SJ200?

Looking for some help with some Hitachi SJ200 Errors. I'm not sure if you call these errors, faults, or alarms but I can use some detailed info and troubleshooting suggestions.


  • Hitachi E05 Alarm
  • Hitachi E05 Error
  • Hitachi E05 Fault

E05 Error / E05 Fault / E05 Alarm

Means: Overload Protection

Possible Cause: Motor overload is detected by the electronic thermal function.
