What does E21 Mean on Hitachi SJ200?

Looking for some help with some Hitachi SJ200 Errors. I'm not sure if you call these errors, faults, or alarms but I can use some detailed info and troubleshooting suggestions.


  • Hitachi E21 Alarm
  • Hitachi E21 Error
  • Hitachi E21 Fault

E21 Error / E21 Fault / E21 Alarm

Means: Inverter thermal trip

Possible Cause: Inverter internal temperature is above threshold.
