What is the name of the safety switches that you lean on to activate? Its like a red rubber strip that goes around the perimeter of a machine. NC contacts that open when you lean against it.
Can't find the specific name for these anywhere.

I thought they were tape switches but now I'm not sure.

Heres some pics of what I need:

The rubber safety switch slides into a track, not sure of the proper name for that either. Any thoughts?

I know what you mean, they are old-school perimeter safety switches. I don't think they are called safety pressure switches but they open when there is pressure against them. How about a safety band switch? Not sure myself.

Possibly called a safety band, these are pretty much obsolete, everything has gone laser and infrared now

You can find safety bands in the industrial graveyards. I regularly see them on surplus machinery set for auction. There are definitely no manufacturers using safety bands anymore.
