What is Brake Resistor Alarm on a Parker AC Drive?

What is Parker BRAKE RESISTOR alarm mean on a Parker AC drive? I'm looking for a simple explanation as to what Brake Resistor means.

And how do you clear the brake resistor alarm from a Parker AC drive?

The manual says: External dynamic braking resistor has been overloaded Trying to decelerate a large inertia load too quickly or too often

When you set up your dynamic braking installation, resistor sizing  is critical. If the application was in service with no problems, then the resistor sizing isn't the issue unless the load has changed. An overheated braking resistor can also be caused by stopping too frequently.
