What is Short Circuit Alarm on a Parker AC Drive?

What is Parker SHORT CIRCUIT alarm mean on a Parker AC drive? I'm looking for a simple explanation as to what Short Circuit means.

And how do you clear the short circuit alarm from a Parker AC drive?

The troubleshooting simply says this: The output is short circuited

To clear the short circuit alarm, start by disconnecting the output wiring and press "E" If the alarm remains with no wiring attached, then the drive's output circuit has a short circuit and will need some professional repair.
